Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Tiger Tank Pumping is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We build the site to be accessible rather than bolting an accessibility widget onto it, and we keep improving it.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Parts of the site may not yet fully meet that standard. Where we find shortfalls, we work to fix them.
What We Do
- Semantic HTML with a single page heading, ordered headings, and landmark regions.
- A "Skip to content" link, visible keyboard focus outlines, and a logical tab order.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and empty alt text for decorative ones.
- Form fields with real labels, and errors announced in text rather than by color alone.
- A color palette checked for contrast. Our brand orange is too light to carry text on white, so the site uses darker steps of the same hue for text and buttons.
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system.
- Self-hosted fonts and no third-party embeds, so the page works without outside scripts.
Assessment and Known Limitations
We assess this site ourselves, against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, using automated checks and keyboard and screen reader testing. It has not been reviewed by an independent accessibility auditor, so we describe it as an ongoing commitment rather than a certification.
Our service area map is a graphic. It carries a text label describing what it shows, and every county and city it covers is also written out in text on the same page, so no information is available only through the map. If you find anything on the site that is hard to use, please tell us and we will fix it.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you hit a barrier, or you need information from this site in another format, call us at (360) 421-1063 or use our contact form. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 to 5 business days, and we will give you the information you were after by phone in the meantime.
